A fan film set in the world of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, with Jessica Armanetti as Higgs and Fabio Meschini as Sam. Live-action performances shot on green screen were composited into a fully digital sci-fi environment built in Unreal Engine 5, with on-set camera tracking to guarantee perfect perspective coherence between actors and the virtual world.

The entire production was completed in ten days. The film reached Hideo Kojima himself, who watched it and publicly reshared it, acknowledging the quality of the work.

MGS2 INTRO REMAKE

● COMPLETED
ENGINE
Unreal Engine 5
TECHNIQUES
MetaHuman · Facial Lipsync · Lumen GI · Nanite · VCAM Workflow
Two years. That is how long it took to rebuild the opening sequence of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty from scratch inside Unreal Engine 5.

Every element was handcrafted — custom MetaHuman characters with frame-accurate facial lipsync, photorealistic rain and environmental lighting using Lumen Global Illumination, Nanite geometry for the tanker hull and New York skyline, and a full VCAM workflow to match the original cinematography by Hideo Kojima.

The project was covered by GamesRadar, Creative Bloq, DSO Gaming, CBR and GGRecon, accumulating over 47,000 YouTube views and becoming one of the most detailed fan recreations of a Metal Gear Solid scene ever produced.

SHADOW MOSES ENVIRONMENT

● COMPLETED
ENGINE
Unreal Engine 5
TECHNIQUES
Environment Art · Nanite · Lumen GI · Cinematic Lighting
A photorealistic reconstruction of Shadow Moses Island's Dock from the original Metal Gear Solid (1998), rebuilt ground-up in Unreal Engine 5.

Using Nanite for high-density geometry and Lumen for fully dynamic real-time global illumination, the environment captures the cold Alaskan atmosphere of one of gaming's most iconic locations. Every structural detail — from the rusted dock railings to the snow accumulation — was referenced against the original PS1 game and concept art.

The heliport sequence from this environment became jackthelightning's most-viewed video at 171,000+ YouTube views.

An original fan cinematic set in the world of Hideo Kojima's upcoming spy thriller PHYSINT.

Featuring a custom Robert Pattinson MetaHuman and noir-driven environments built from scratch in Unreal Engine 5, this project explores the aesthetic language of Kojima Productions' new IP — high-contrast shadows, brutalist architecture, and the tense visual grammar of a Cold War thriller.

Currently in active production. Three renders already completed — cinematic sequences in development.

MGS4 FREE BIRD CINEMATIC

● COMPLETED
ENGINE
Unreal Engine 5
TECHNIQUES
Cinematic Direction · VCAM · Character Animation · Lumen GI
A fan cinematic tribute: Old Snake's final moments inside Outer Haven, set to Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird."

Built as a pure emotional exercise — no lipsync, no dialogue — just cinematography, character animation, and music working together to capture the melancholic weight of Metal Gear Solid 4's ending. The VCAM workflow in UE5 allowed real-time camera blocking and shot composition directly inside the engine.
